I’m 30-something, and I live in the heart of the Bible belt. I’m a disappointment to my mother, but my dad hasn’t lost faith in me yet. I often write about things that most people would consider boring, and I tend to overshare. I write to have a voice.
I am JKTTY. This is not “J Kitty” as some have assumed, it’s an acronym for my blog name “Just Keep This To Yourself.” The first JKTTY blog is here. I started writing there to have a place to share my private thoughts…someplace that my (then) boyfriend didn’t know about. That blog started August 7, 2006 and covers a lot of ground in my life. Most importantly it documents the end of my relationship with my boyfriend, and ultimately me leaving him.
Really I don’t need a “private” voice anymore, so I don’t suppose it’s necessary to “keep this to yourself” anymore, but I am now, and will be..jktty.
